Nancy and Danny's Story When Every Minute Counts

Imagine the moment Nancy rushed her husband Danny to Dr. Gavini’s office in Hanford, not knowing how dramatically her life would change. 

An angiogram revealed that Danny’s main artery was 99% blocked. Within minutes, Dr. Gavini had him rushed by ambulance to Fresno for an emergency angioplasty. But on the operating table, Danny suffered a massive heart attack. 

Another physician, Dr. Cohen, began surgery immediately. And while he wasn’t the surgeon that day, Dr. Gavini never left Danny’s side. He updated Nancy throughout the ordeal and reassured her: “He’s going to make it.”

The prognosis was grim. Dr. Cohen warned Nancy that Danny would have major, permanent heart damage. Nancy’s reply was simple: “No, because you don’t know the God I serve.”

Three months later, Danny’s ultrasound revealed something extraordinary. There was no heart damage.
