Annual Remembrance Event Takes Flight Memorial Butterfly Release

Our annual Memorial Butterfly Release took place on May 11, 2024 at the gorgeous riverside home of Brenda and Ed Evans. With more than 75 people in attendance, it was a special event to honor the lives of the people we’ve loved and lost. Attendees released butterflies simultaneously to symbolize hope and renewal. With engaging speakers like Josh Cordero, Ricky Hemme, Lisa Borba-Rhoads and Jason Mahill, along with a talented musical selection by Rose Longbottom, it was the perfect time to reflect and celebrate lives well-lived. A special thank you to the Evans family, our hospice team, hospice volunteers and everyone who came to support this beautiful remembrance event. All event proceeds go to the Hospice Patient Assistance Fund to support our hospice programs and assist our hospice patients. This year, the event raised $3,025, bringing the total raised over the last three years to more than $10,000.
