Save the Date: Light Up a Life

Save the date for Light Up a Life Tree Lighting Ceremony, set for December 11, 2024, at 6:00 p.m. Light Up a Life is our annual fundraiser in support of Adventist Health Hospice. Funds raised benefit services to our patients and their families, including counseling groups, educational materials and other resources, as well as direct patient support for those experiencing financial hardships.  

Adventist Health Hospice holds a deeply sentimental place in the tapestry of end-of-life care. It embodies the profound understanding that the journey of life is sacred, and as it draws to a close, it deserves to be met with dignity, compassion and respect. 

At its core, hospice is about ensuring that individuals at the end of their lives can experience comfort and peace, surrounded by the warmth of their loved ones. It shifts the focus from curing an illness to enhancing the quality of life. This approach embraces the idea that every moment matters and the goal is to make those moments as meaningful and serene as possible. We have an incredibly compassionate and knowledgeable hospice team, and they view their work as a sacred calling. 

We are four star We Honor Veterans certified, which means we have a close relationship with the Veterans Administration and ensure that veterans in our program are laid to rest with a flag, salute and the utmost respect for the life of service they lived toward their country.
