Nurse Honor Guard

Nurse Honor Guard

The Adventist Health Central Valley Health Foundation Volunteers have proudly voted to support the launch of the Nurse Honor Guard — a heartfelt program that honors nurses in our region who have passed away by recognizing their lifelong commitment to caring for others.

This is the first Nurse Honor Guard in our region, and it offers a meaningful, ceremonial tribute to nurses at the time of their passing. Participating nurses don traditional white uniforms and pay respects through a powerful reading of the “Nightingale Tribute,” reflecting the deep compassion and dedication of those who chose nursing as their professional calling.

Through this program, we ensure no nurse’s service goes unrecognized and that their legacy is honored with the dignity and gratitude they deserve.

A special thank you to Trista Campos, an Adventist Health nurse who is leading this effort with incredible heart and dedication. Her leadership is bringing this beautiful tradition to life in our community.
